Overview:
Transforming the brain into a reading brain is nothing short of miraculous. Sally Shaywitz and Jonathan Shaywitz thoroughly break down the process of becoming a reader and why some experience significant difficulty learning to read in a completely revised and updated edition of Overcoming Dyslexia. The goals of the authors will serve as guiding questions throughout this study. Authors’ goals are to share cutting-edge scientific knowledge, translate scientific knowledge into action, and ensure compassion and empathy are an integral part of the information shared.
