In an increasingly global world, it’s imperative that students learn communication skills and develop a global perspective. This course will explore engaging ways to bring the world to your students. Participants will learn about the future-ready skills developed through global collaboration, as well as a variety of strategies to connect your classroom with others around the world. Whether you want to create a quick, engaging way to learn from others or develop an ongoing classroom partnership, we’ll explore several ways to connect students with others.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand what a global classroom looks like.
- Know how to develop collaboration and communication skills through classroom connections.
- Be able to use a variety of strategies and online tools to connect with others outside the classroom.
Graduate-Level Continuing Education:
Two continuing education credits are available through MidAmerica Nazarene University at an additional cost of $90 per credit hour.
